Profile

Peter Fogh is a partner in our Dispute Resolution team. He conducts litigation and arbitration proceedings before all Danish courts as well as Danish and foreign arbitration tribunals. He provides advice on construction law disputes and general contract law disputes. Peter is particularly experienced in matters with international law aspects.

Peter advises Danish and foreign clients and has been involved in cases related to some of the biggest building and construction projects in Denmark in the last 20 years, including the bridge between the two Danish islands Zealand and Funen (Storebæltsbroen), the Øresund link and the Copenhagen Metro project.

Peter is also experienced in advising Danish and foreign clients on ship financing and other types of project financing. 

Peter is a qualified mediator and an arbitrator. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator in both Danish and foreign arbitration proceedings.

In 2015 Peter was elected as chairman of the Danish Bar and Law Society for a four-year term and reelected for a two-year term in 2019.

In addition to a large number of legal proceedings and arbitration proceedings Peter has, for instance, been involved in:

  • Metro construction arbitration - representation of a contractor as lead counsel in a DKK multi-billion construction dispute 
  • Electrification project - provision of advice in connection with a major electrification project
  • Building of hospitals - provision of advice in connection with the building of new hospitals
  • Public-private partnership projects - advisor on a number of public-private partnership projects
  • Road construction - provision of advice in connection with the construction of roads in Tanzania, Nicaragua and Zambia
  • Construction of port facilities - provision of advice in connection with the construction of port facilities in Poland
  • Offshore - provision of advice in connection with offshore projects within the energy sector
  • Metro construction - provision of advice in connection with the Copenhagen Metro project
