Basham, Ringe y Correa named as the Best Mexican Law Firm at the 2012 International Legal Awards

We are very proud to announce that for the second time Basham, Ringe y Correa has been honored by the
International Legal Alliance Summit with the “Gold Award” for being the Best Mexican Law Firm in 2012.
The International Legal Awards ceremony took place on June 14, 2012, in Paris, where the best independent law firms of their respective countries were awarded. A total of 550 invitees of more than 50 countries attended the ceremony; among the attendants were partners of international law firms, senior officers of various companies, and leading legal experts.
The process to elect the winners commenced six months before the ceremony, when the organizers created a panel of 145 judges, all active directors with extensive experience in legal affairs.
The nominees were selected based on suggestions made by the jury and the main international rankings. The law firms competing for the “Gold Award” should meet certain requirements, which were the base for taking the decision, and our firm was selected as the Best Mexican Law Firm for the year.
2012 is a year many of satisfactions for our firm as, in addition to the 100th anniversary of its foundation, this recognition is another achievement and encourages us to face new challenges in the 21st Century.
