Profile
A multi disciplinary background in law, economics, management and fiscal policy enhances Mr Anga’s commercial and corporate practice. He advises clients on banking, finance and insurance matters. He is engaged in transactional work in the energy and transportation industries. He appears as counsel before all superior courts in Nigeria and has acted as counsel or party appointed arbitrator in several arbitration proceedings.
Has been involved in project finance and capital markets transactions for several years. Currently Chairman-Capital Markets Solicitors Association and Chairman of its Strategy and Remuneration Committee. Member of the Federal ministry of Finance committee on Code of Corporate Ethics for Capital Market Regulators, Member Securities and Exchange Committee on review of capital Market processes and Structures, Former member of the Presidential Policy Advisory Committee where he was a member of the sub committee on finance and investment. He authored the committee’s policy paper on foreign investment and privatization. He advises clients from around the world on foreign direct investment in Nigeria and on related tax issues.

Significant Accomplishments
Mr Anga represents major state owned and private oil and gas production, marketing and distribution companies in a range of matters. He acted in the first marginal field acquisition in Nigeria and advised on acquisition of first EPP at Egbin.
Acts as Nigerian counsel to five International flag carriers and several other entities involved in aviation. Involved as local counsel to overseas financiers during the purchase of aircraft operated in Nigeria and Ghana. Represented international airlines on tariff, regulatory, shareholder and fiscal issues with Ground handling company. Acted for a major aircraft manufacturer and their underwriters in matters relating to an aircraft crash. . He was an honorary delegate for Nigeria at the 5th ICAO World Air Transport Conference held in Montreal, Canada in March 2003, and the 35th General Assembly of ICAO, Montreal October 2004. Appointed to UNCITRAL Committee of Experts on Commercial Fraud.
