Profile

Michael Barr is a Partner in the Corporate Department and he is a senior member of our Technology Law Unit. He specialises in the general corporate, technology, utilities, pharmaceuticals and outsourcing areas. He also has wide experience of company and business acquisition work and has been involved on both sides of venture capital transactions. Michael joined the firm in 1994 and qualified as a solicitor in 1997. He is a BCL graduate of University College Dublin and studied for a year in University de Nancy II in France as part of his studies. He has tutored in Private International Law and e-Commerce Law in the Law Society of Ireland. He has also given a number of presentations on various general commercial and technology related issues.
