Lana practises corporate and commercial law with a particular emphasis on environmental law. She works with public and private companies in a wide range of industries, including mining, natural resources, technology and manufacturing.

Lana's environmental law practice involves assisting clients with permitting and regulatory matters that arise throughout the development of both small and large projects, including obtaining environmental authorizations from federal, provincial and territorial regulatory authorities. She also advises clients on compliance with provincial and federal environmental laws.

Within her corporate and commercial law practice, Lana conducts a variety of transactions, including asset and share acquisitions and dispositions, reorganizations and various other corporate proceedings. Lana also advises public companies on regulatory matters, continuous disclosure and corporate governance practices.

* The acquisition of port terminal facilities by an infrastructure fund of a global financial institution
* The acquisition by a private equity firm of a North American importer and distributor of chocolate, specialty dessert and pastry ingredients
