Key Takeaways from USDA Final Interim Rules for Domestic Hemp Production

Introduction On Oct. 31, 2019, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) published its highly anticipated interim final rules, establishing the USDA Domestic Hemp Production Program to be administered by the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). Primarily, the rules serve to establish standards for plans submitted by states or tribal governments for USDA approval and a separate federal hemp plan under which producers in states or tribal lands that do not establish their own plan may be licensed. Cincinnati Associate Sarah Sessler Bolsters Dinsmore’s Robust Litigation Group

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has welcomed Sarah Sessler—a new commercial litigation associate in the firm’s Cincinnati office. Dinsmore’s litigation group now boasts 291 attorneys across the firm, including 131 in Ohio and 95 in Cincinnati. Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is proud to announce the creation of the Dinsmore University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law LGBTQ Scholarship. Through the generosity of Partner John Selent, Dinsmore will fund half the annual tuition of a student who either identifies as LGBTQ, or who has made significant contributions to the community.
