Anshula is an Associate and joined the Manchester Banking and Finance team in 2021. Prior to that Anshula was Legal Counsel at a large international corporate group.

Anshula advises banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on domestic and cross-border financing.

Recent transactions include:

• advising on a Takeover Code governed public to private takeover of a large PLC;

• acting for the borrowers on a £74m senior and £10m mezzanine funding for the finance of a mixed student accommodation and hotel apartment portfolio for a group of companies based in Jersey;

• acting for a major clearing bank on a £89m investment and development funding for the finance of a commercial park and other green projects; and

• acting for a major clearing bank on a £31.8m investment facility for the acquisition of a business park.

Anshula has recently completed a successful secondment in the corporate real estate finance team of a major UK clearing bank.
