Ashlie is an Associate within the Solent Employment team.
Ashlie trained with Shoosmiths' and qualified into the Solent Employment team in September 2023 having completed two seats in Employment during her training contract. She assists the Employment team on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters across a variety of sectors.
Ashlie's experience includes:
- drafting responses to Employment Tribunal claims including claims for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination, supporting on disclosure, liaising with ACAS, drafting of witness statements and applications, attendance at preliminary hearings and assisting in the preparation and attendance at Tribunal hearings;
- reviewing policies and procedures;
- drafting contracts of employment and settlement agreements;
- supporting on M&A transactions including drafting due diligence reports and identifying and recommending appropriate warranties and indemnities;
- drafting articles for publication; and
- supporting with pulling together materials for training sessions.
