Vasco is the partner who heads the German Desk. With over 20 years' experience, he is known for advising on very significant transactions and for providing ongoing legal support to his clients from a wide variety of sectors. He is known, above all, for advising clients from German-speaking countries.

Vasco focuses principally on corporate law / mergers and acquisitions and property (real estate). He also handles various types of litigation, mainly for clients from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Vasco has seats on the boards of the main associations linked to those German-speaking countries, in particular the Portuguese-German and Portuguese-Swiss Chambers of Commerce. He is also on the board of several trade associations from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and has been the lawyer of the Austrian Embassy for nearly 20 years.

The practice he leads is unique in the Portuguese legal market because it consists of a team of bilingual Portuguese/German lawyers spread across the whole country at PLMJ's offices in Porto, Lisbon and Faro.
