Benn’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, principally in the areas of patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation. He has represented clients in some the most active forums for patent litigation, including the District of Delaware, the Eastern District of Texas, and the Western District of Texas. He also has substantial experience representing both complainants and respondents in Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission. His patent litigation practice involves a range of technologies, including telecommunications and networking equipment, mobile phones, oil and gas services, e-reader covers, LED bulbs, basketball goals, and medical foods.

In addition to his litigation practice, Benn also works with clients to secure trademark protection and assists clients with antitrust matters, including preparing transactions for pre-merger review under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.

Prior to joining Bradley, he was an IP litigator with a Washington, D.C. firm and represented clients in complex patent disputes before both federal district courts and the International Trade Commission.

Benn served as a law clerk to Judge R. Lanier Anderson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Chief Judge Ashley Royal of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as an articles editor for the Georgia Law Review.
