Profile

Brenton is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He represents clients in cases involving complex and novel legal issues at every level of the state and federal court systems, including the United States Supreme Court.

Brenton served as a law clerk for both the Hon. Edward E. Carnes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Hon. Madeline H. Haikala of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Brenton earned his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he graduated first in his class and was the American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Law Student for the Eleventh Circuit. He also served as the editor-in-chief of the Cumberland Law Review. Brenton graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and history.
