He started his career in 1987 at another law firm and later joined Garrigues in 1989, forming part corporate and commercial law practice at the Barcelona office.

He works mainly in the areas of corporate law and mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures involving groups of companies, for multinational and Spanish clients (mainly family businesses), and plays an active role in advising on the above types of transactions in the international arena.

He has also acted as counsel in various arbitration and court proceedings in connection with acquisitions and joint ventures and contractual terminations.

In the field of commercial contracts he has extensive experience in the various types of joint venture agreements and in agreements for the performance of turnkey industrial projects, with international elements.

In the field of business, he also has expertise in advising on directors’ liability and product liability.

He is legal advisor and Board secretary to various companies.

Since 1997 he has coordinated the firm’s Italian Desk, and cultivated many contacts with clients and professionals in Milan, Rome and other Italian cities.
