Daniel Del Rio is Partner of the firm since 1991, the oldest one of the largest full service law firms in Mexico. Areas of professional practice: Corporate, M&A, Foreign Investment, International and Financial Transactions, Joint-Ventures, Real Estate, Antitrust, Banking Securities and Insurance.

Graduated from the Universidad la Salle, was admitted to practice in Mexico in 1980. Post-Graduated Studies: Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tulane University, New Orleans, U.S.A. He has written articles in law business publications and participated as invited speaker on the North America Free trade Agreement, Extensive experience in working with foreign companies and focuses on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, international and financial transactions, real estate, associations, banking, insurance and monopolies.

He has been recognized by Chambers Global and Chambers Latin America as one of the leading attorneys in Mexico for Mergers and Acquisitions for the last two years and by the International Who's Who of Merger and Acquisitions Lawyers, 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2009 and 2010 he has been named one of Mexico's top notch lawyers via Best Lawyers regarding Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions work. He is Counsel Member of the Latin American Forum of the International Bar Association, as well as Council Member for the Legal Practice Division, having participated as lecturer in various conferences, and also Board Member of the ICC Mexico, The University Club and the Mexican Financial Executives (IMEF). He participated with the Latin American Forum in the Organization of the First Latin American Conference held in Mexico City and the First Conference of the Americas and other events as well.

He is the Chairman of the Mexican Chapter of the Friends of the John Paul II Foundation, and a Trustee Member of the IBA Trust Foundation and the Basham, Ringe y Correa Pro-Bono Foundation.
