David Gray joined The Strategy Institute of The Boston Consulting GroupTM in May 2000 and is the director of the Institute's Strategy GalleryTM, an intranet Web site that fosters a multi-disciplinary approach to the exploration of strategy. "What the Gallery tries to do is to help prepare the mind of the strategist by providing rich, provocative thinking from different fields that inspires new ways of looking at problems. The Gallery encourages visitors to explore these ideas as metaphors for strategy in business." He has also been involved in a number of The Strategy Institute's other projects and publications.

Before joining The Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Gray worked as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. on issues of infrastructure privatization and regulation for developing countries including Chile, Indonesia, Tanzania, and Uganda. He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Management and a BA in philosophy from Harvard University.
