Profile

Guidance on international and domestic patents

Elizabeth O'Connell focuses on patent prosecution, including preparing and prosecuting domestic and international applications. As a polymer chemist, she has technical knowledge of monomer synthesis, polymer synthesis, cross-coupling techniques and characterization of resulting materials.

Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth was a graduate researcher who performed extensive organic small molecule synthesis and polymerization in air free conditions, analyzed organic molecules with standard techniques (NMR, MS, IT, UV-Vis, DART and LC-MS), and studied conjugated polymers. In addition, she also gave presentations of resulting materials at national and regional conferences, and reviewed and summarized data for proposals, project updates and scientific journals.
