Emily Ruzic handles complex business litigation matters, including non-compete and breach-of-contract cases; trade secret, trademark, and copyright infringement litigation; and Federal Trade Commission investigations. She works on a diverse range of matters for a variety of industries, including energy, insurance, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and real estate.
A native of Birmingham, she earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Alabama Law Review and the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. She was selected as an M. Leigh Harrison Award winner, a Hugo Black Scholar, and a member of Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Emily attended the University of Georgia, earning a BBA in Finance and in Economics, cum laude.
