Leveraging his 15 years of experience with military housing P3s, Scott frequently counsels clients on negotiating and financing university infrastructure projects.

In the corporate law arena, Scott offers clients comprehensive legal services across the vast corporate spectrum, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate governance, contracts, joint ventures and commercial lending. He has a strong focus on understanding each client’s strategic business objectives.

Scott is committed to representing his clients’ interests at all levels of local, regional and national governing bodies in the United States. His knowledge of this area of the law, as well as his background as a professional journalist and his involvement in numerous political campaigns, have enabled him to bring an additional level of service to many clients. He combines legal and advocacy skills with strategic experience developed over years of work on an extensive variety of legislative, regulatory and policy projects. A native of Atlanta, he has represented numerous local, state and federal political candidates and officeholders, as well as political action committees.

Prior to attending law school, Scott was a newspaper and magazine reporter, with an emphasis on political reporting. This background gives him a unique vantage point from which to advise a range of clients.
