Profile

Hyatt Howard is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation department.  His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, white collar defense and internal investigations, and employment law.

From 2016 to 2017, Mr. Howard served as a law clerk to the Hon. Michael P. Shea of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.  Also, prior to joining the firm, Mr. Howard was a fellow of Silliman College at Yale University where he lectured on prison law and policy.

Representative Matters

Investigations and representations of corporations in connection with potential allegations arising under the Sherman Act; the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; and other federal laws.

Defense of employers in internal investigations related to discrimination and retaliation complaints.

Representing a supplier of manufacturing parts in long-running commercial dispute against its counterparty.

Representing healthcare institution in dispute with former employee.

Represented multinational institutional client in connection with investigation arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Representing individual in connection with potential allegations arising under federal law.

Co-authored amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court.

Represented individual in connection with New York State Executive Clemency Bureau.

Conducted an internal investigation on behalf of public interest organization.
