Jackson Hill is a litigator representing clients in the construction and financial services industries. He is committed to addressing his clients’ needs with a strategic, problem-solving approach to provide them with high-caliber advocacy, while always prioritizing their business needs. He has significant experience in civil cases in state and federal courts across the United States, as well as international arbitration experience in construction matters in Chile and Panama.

Jackson represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in his construction and government contracts practice. His experience includes prosecuting and defending breach of contract, delay, extra work, impact and inefficiency, and indemnity claims. He also has experience with federal government contracts, particularly small business set-aside contracting.

Financial Services
Jackson’s financial services practice focuses on representing auto-finance and mortgage servicing companies. He defends clients against FDCPA, FCRA, RESPA, TILA, TCPA, HPA, fraud, and unfair and deceptive trade practices claims. He has particular experience with the FCRA and advising clients how to properly report loans in bankruptcy. He has also assisted his auto-finance clients with wrongful repossession claims, disputes over GAP insurance, replevin actions, and administration of dealer reserve programs.

Outside of his construction and financial services practices, Jackson enjoys volunteering as a member of the Young Advisory Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham. He has also worked on numerous pro bono matters, including assisting in the exoneration of a death-row inmate in Florida.
