Profile

Jessilyn represents local governments and public agencies in transactional and advisory matters involving open government, public records, conflict of interest, elections laws, Proposition 218, ordinance drafting, and public contracting and public works. She is adept in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, such as professional and consulting services, master services, non-disclosures, IT and software, and grants.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessilyn was an associate at a municipal law firm. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye of the Supreme Court of California and served as Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.

In addition to her law practice, Jessilyn is an active member of her community. She volunteers with Wu Yee Children’s Services and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Asian Development Center.
