Josh focuses his practice on commercial litigation and the representation of construction industry professionals. He is an experienced litigator able to handle complex cases, guiding clients through all aspects of a case, including negotiations, settlement, arbitration, or litigation.  His clients include general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and property owners, who he assists with contract review, payment disputes, and construction defects before the courts or through any alternative dispute resolution. Josh also counsels clients on data security and data privacy law compliance in the quickly evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Josh was an Assistant Chief Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security, litigating cases before federal administrative courts from trial through appeal. Further, in addition to serving as a union steward for the Denver and Salt Lake City offices, he acted as a Point of Contact for the Department of State, federal litigation, juvenile matters, the Violence Against Women Act, and individuals with mental competency concerns.
