Katrina Neumann is an attorney at Buchalter’s Orange County office and is a member of the Litigation practice group. Ms. Neumann has experience in all aspects of risk management and litigation and has handled disputes from inception to resolution, including taking a case through to jury trial. Ms. Neumann has managed and favorably resolved cases for a variety of clients, including “private money” lenders, mortgage bankers, insureds, credit unions, investors, individuals who own real property and developers/general contractors. Her experience includes pre-litigation negotiations, preliminary investigations, discovery, motion practice, expert investigations, settlement negotiations, mediation, dispositive motions, and trial. On the defense side, Ms. Neumann has defended clients against multi-million dollar claims. On the plaintiff side, Ms. Neumann has obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements.

Ms. Neumann was recently on a trial team that obtained a unanimous jury verdict in favor of a Bank and against its Guarantors in a breach of guaranty case which was tried in the Orange County Superior Court. The guarantors presented an “unclean hands” defense which was rejected by the jury.
