Kellie is an advocate and associate in the dispute resolution and litigation team in Guernsey.

Kellie advises local and international clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious disputes, with a particular focus on commercial dispute resolution, contentious and semi-contentious trust matters and banking and financial services litigation. Kellie was a awarded a distinction in the ICA Compliance Diploma and has a keen interest in compliance, corporate governance and financial crime including regulatory investigations and fraud and asset tracing claims.

Kellie has extensive experience in commercial and financial dispute resolution, having worked in the Guernsey legal industry for over a decade. During this time Kellie has advised financial institutions, trustees, beneficiaries, protectors, organisations and individuals in connection with complex and high value disputes.

Professional Career

Significant Accomplishments

Kellie was called as a barrister of England and Wales in 2016 following which she worked in the Nottingham Legal Advice Centre offering independent legal advice and representation in tribunals to clients. Upon returning to her native Guernsey she qualified as a Guernsey advocate.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen Kellie gained experience working within the dispute resolution department of another large offshore law firm in Guernsey.

Kellie was noted as a "rising star" in the Legal 500 UK guide in 2020 and a "key lawyer" in the Legal 500 UK guide 2021. She was also named in the eprivateclient's prestigious Top 35 Under 35 in both 2021 and 2022.

Kellie is a member of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, the Guernsey Bar, the Guernsey International Legal Association, ARIES and a STEP affiliate member.
