Profile
Susan Doss is a retired partner who represented financial institutions and corporate clients in a wide range of business transactions, with her primary focus on commercial lending and other financial transactions.
Susan also advised clients on regulatory matters with an emphasis on compliance with various federal and state banking laws and regulations. She has extensive knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, particularly for issues involving secured transactions.
A significant portion of her banking practice was focused on mortgage warehouse lending transactions. Susan was involved in hundreds of syndicated and non-syndicated warehouse facility deals, ranging in size from $2 million to over $1 billion, structured as lines of credit, repurchase facilities, or loan participation sale facilities.
Her banking and corporate finance background and her experience structuring complex financing arrangements were frequently called into play with the firm’s corporate clients. She regularly represented corporate borrowers in connection with the negotiation, structuring and closing of credit facilities of all types from commercial lenders.
