Laura is a legal director in the tax team, based in the London office. She has extensive experience advising on a wide range of domestic and international tax matters including UK and cross border mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, real estate transactions and cross-border tax structuring.

In addition, Laura has significant experience advising on all types of employee incentive arrangements, as well as employment tax and social security issues. 

Laura is a former chair of the Foreign Lawyers Forum of the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation. She is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians. 

Prior to joining Shoosmiths in 2024, Laura worked at Reed Smith LLP for seven years and at King Wood & Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin) for 12 years.
