Leah practices general commercial litigation for clients in the construction, energy, insurance and real estate industries.

Leah’s litigation experience includes arbitration, taking depositions, drafting substantive pleadings and discovery, interviewing clients, conducting white collar and FCPA investigations, mediation, and managing large-scale discovery projects.

Leah also served as a volunteer prosecutor for the City of Houston, conducting voir dire and trying both jury and bench trials to verdict.

  • Trial counsel for an oil and gas investment firm in arbitration concerning breach of a joint operating agreement
  • Successfully negotiated settlement in DTPA dispute
  • Represented property and casualty insurer in multiple coverage disputes under commercial general liability policies with insureds and related disputes with co-insurers over allocation, contribution and subrogation
