Miloslav Petrů is an Associate at Kocián Šolc Balaštík, advokátní kancelář, s.r.o. Miloslav graduated from Masaryk University Law School in Brno (1998 - Mgr.) and Columbia Law School in New York, USA (LL.M. and Parker School Recognition for Achievement in International and Comparative Law, 2006).

He has been an advocate since 2009 and he is a member of the Czech Bar Association.

Miloslav has extensive experience in representing large Czech and international clients before international and Czech arbitration authorities (including the ICSID and the ICC International Arbitration Court) and international and Czech courts (including the European Court of Human Rights, EU Courts, the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic and the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic).

Before joining KŠB, Miloslav was a lawyer-diplomat at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked at the Czech Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York as, inter alia, a legal advisor.

Miloslav is an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court with the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic.

Recently, Miloslav advised DEZA (an Agrofert company) before the EU Court of Justice and ENERGO-PRO in investment arbitration before the ICSID.
