Naledi Magomola is an Associate at ENS in the Intellectual Property practice.

Naledi specialises in commercial and transactional intellectual property (IP) matters where she provides strategic advice on the creation, commercialization and protection of IP. Her experience includes the preparation and review of commercial agreements, participating in due diligence investigations and assisting clients with their brand development in various industries including fast-moving consumer goods and insurance.

Prior to joining ENS, Naledi worked as legal counsel in the IP department of one of Africa’s largest telecommunications companies. During this time, she provided commercial IP advice to her stakeholders, including the leadership in the company’s numerous operating companies across Africa and the Middle East. She was also involved in the maintenance and enforcement of the Company’s extensive IP portfolio.

Naledi obtained her MSc in International Business Management from Kingston University London, whilst living and working there, to enhance her understanding of business drivers and practices which better enables her to provide commercially focused legal advice to client and her stakeholders.

In addition, Naledi has advised local and international clients on various commercial aspects of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) law, has drafted related commercial agreements and legal opinions on regulatory considerations of TMT law. 

Naledi is a member of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law.
