Profile
Pedro is a partner in the Public and Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals practices. With over 15 years' professional experience, he specializes in public and regulatory law, working with public and private entities. Pedro has worked as a lawyer, arbitrator and consultant in highly regulated sectors such as transport and mobility, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, and new technologies.
He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and earned a PhD in law at the same faculty. Pedro also has a master's in comparative law and international law research from the European University Institute.
Besides his work as a lawyer, he was an assistant to the Secretary of State of the Minister of State and Regional Development in the 19th Constitutional Government (2013-2015), an assistant Secretary of State and of Parliamentary Affairs in the 20th Constitutional Government (2015), and an adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (2003).
Pedro has had extensive public involvement in the media since 2004 and is currently a member of RTP's Public Opinion Council.
