Rico Falsone is a seasoned attorney with a focus on cybersecurity and data governance. As a trilingual security expert, Rico has demonstrated exceptional leadership, steering high-profile teams in domains such as cybersecurity, supply chain security, insider risks, internal investigations, business continuity, crisis management, and incident response.

Rico excels in designing and implementing cybersecurity and data governance compliance solutions globally. He promptly responds to the ever-expanding needs of his clientele, delivering scalable outcomes that resonate with the dynamic landscape of international privacy and security laws. Before transitioning to private practice, Rico served at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as an attorney and supervisory special agent for over 20 years. His responsibilities included acting as deputy chief counsel to the director of the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center, where he managed a team of legal professionals addressing issues ranging from the terrorist watchlist, national security law and policy, to privacy, civil liberties, and legislative matters. Additionally, Rico served as assistant legal attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, where he managed the FBI’s Cyber and Counterintelligence programs in France and Monaco.

Rico also has extensive experience in sanctions compliance and the creation of risk management policies for the U.S. Intelligence Community, focusing on the risks posed by foreign entities compromising digital supply chains in the government and private sectors. Rico brings a robust blend of knowledge and practical skills to the cybersecurity and privacy law field.
