Sam counsels clients on all facets of intellectual property. Corporations rely upon him to protect and defend the patents, trademarks, and copyrights that serve as the driving force of their monetization goals.

As a professional engineer (P.E.), Sam offers an informed perspective on new technologies and related businesses. His work is bolstered by his knowledge of computer architecture, virtualization, networking, software, and semiconductors as well as his experience in manufacturing, medical devices, mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Sam maintains a special focus on green technologies and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional (LEED AP).

In law school, Sam interned for the Hon. Randall R. Rader, retired Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
