Sergio is a managing associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice. In his 15 years working as a lawyer, he has focused on advising Portuguese and international hotel groups, large retailers and real estate investors. Sergio has handled multiple real estate and corporate transactions, from defining the implementation of their corporate structures and financing, through to completion.

Having earned his law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Sergio went on to complete a postgraduate course in securities law at the same faculty.

Before joining PLMJ, Sergio was a lawyer at the law firm FCB - F. Castelo Branco e Associados.
