Profile

Shan Greer is a Caribbean arbitrator, mediator and lawyer. Her practice carries a strong emphasis on major building and infrastructure projects. She offers excellent insight, particularly with respect to the procurement and execution stages of major projects. Although based in St Lucia, Shan represents clients throughout the Caribbean as well as internationally in North America and Europe.
With more than fifteen years experience as a commercial litigator, Shan provides clients with effective representation from pre-suit negotiations to the appellate process. Her experience includes cases involving construction, banking, insurance, intellectual property, energy, and employment.
Shan possesses the highest arbitration credentials available internationally including qualification as a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Masters degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from Kings College London. In the past five years, she has been appointed to act as arbitrator and mediator in construction, insurance and employment disputes.
Shan is passionate about education and training, particularly in the area of alternative dispute resolution. She is an approved tutor and course director with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as the Vice Chair of its Caribbean Branch.
