Patent prosecution and preparation guidance

Theresa Doty focuses on patent prosecution and assists clients throughout all stages of the patent application process. Her experience includes:

• Preparing and filing domestic applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and filing International Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications with the U.S. Receiving Office utilizing the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) ePCT system.
• Working directly with inventors to finalize formal documents, file and record declaration forms and assignments with the USPTO.
• Communicating with attorneys and clients throughout prosecution, including reporting office actions both domestic and foreign.
• Working with foreign associates to file national stage filings and foreign applications and overseeing timely filings.
• Preparing weekly docket reports.
