Profile
Tomas is a managing associate in the Corporate M&A practice. With around 10 years of experience, he has worked mainly on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, venture capital regulatory issues, corporate disputes and privatisations.
His clients come from various industries and sectors, including real estate, shopping centres, tourism, ship building, repair and maintenance, sports companies and agribusiness.
Before joining PLMJ, Tomas was a lawyer at the Lisbon office of a leading Iberian law firm. He was also an adviser to the Minister of State and of Regional Development of the 19th Constitutional Government of Portugal.
Tomas has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova and completed a postgraduate course in corporate law at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa.
