KSB counsel Tomas Sequens has been involved in many commercial transactions which have environmental and energy aspects.

He advises KSB clients on their strategies within transitioning to a circular and CO2 free economy, and he has participated in providing comments on many draft environmental and energy bills, such as the Czech RES Act and the Czech End-of-Life Products Act.

Tomas has recently advised the following companies: SÚRAO on the preparation of a long-term contract for the operation and construction of PVP Bukov, an underground generic laboratory situated on the 12th floor of the Dolní Rožínka mine, which serves as the source of data necessary for the future construction and operation of the long-term nuclear waste storage facility; REMA companies in the area of the operation of its EPR systems; Green Gas DPB on the operation of its alternative gas (mine gas) distribution networks, including the operation and regulation of its cogeneration units using mine gas; and Asental Land with respect to reclaiming their plots of land which were polluted during historical coal mining activities.
