Victoria Allen heads up the M&A team in Sydney and she is an accomplished and highly credentialed corporate lawyer boasting an impressive track record in domestic and international transactions for diverse range of financial institutions and corporate clients. Victoria has developed a strong multi-jurisdictional corporate practice with a focus on large mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising on corporate structuring for property developments and project-specific joint ventures.

Victoria recently advised Lloyds Group on the $1.55billion sale of Capital Finance Australia and BOS International Australia to Westpac Banking Corporation. This is notably one of the largest financial services transactions of recent times in the Australian market.

Victoria has also advised on Lloyds International's numerous portfolio sales of distressed debt and has acted for many other clients in portfolio sales of distressed debt. She is an expert and trusted advisor in running vendor sales processes.

Victoria also has a strong focus on the retirement village and aged care sector, where she led the landmark acquisition of the Zig Inge portfolio, the largest sector acquisition in Australia.

As one of the firm's lead partners on Australia's foreign investment regime, she regularly advises on the regulatory framework in Australia as well as acting for European governments on the post-GFC effects on European financial institution activities in Australia.

Some of her long-standing clients include Lloyds Banking Group, Macquarie Group, Mirvac, Reed Elsevier, Suncorp and HCF.

Victoria brings considerable international experience with a top-tier London law firm to her Australian practice. She is also a regular speaker at conferences on corporate law matters.
