The launch of our annual conference, Data Insights x Shoosmiths, took place on Wednesday, 24 January 2024 at our offices in London and virtually via live-stream.

We were delighted to see a conversation between the titans of data transfer: Privacy Lawyer and Activist at NOYB Max Schrems and French MP Philippe Latombe, followed by a keynote from Barrister, Author and AI visionary Jamie Susskind. The conference brought together leaders in data protection and privacy from a distinguished guest list of UK and international organisations including Oracle, Ford Motors, Deliveroo and Booking.com with expert panels on DPO perspectives, data governance and adtech. As well as Head of Innovation, International & Data Rights at the UK Department of Science, Innovation and Technology David Hoy for unmissable analysis of what’s happening in privacy on the ground right now.
