Buchalter is pleased to announce that Shareholders Tracy A. Warren and Laura L. Nichols have both been been selected as 2020 “Leaders in Law” Finalists by the San Diego Business Journal.

Tracy Warren is member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Firm’s San Diego office. Ms. Warren represents both national and international clients in employment matters involving single plaintiff and class action defense.  She advises, counsels, trains and litigates in areas including wage and hour compliance, pay equity, sexual harassment, retaliation, terminations, hiring, leave of absence, reductions in force, employee discipline, workplace accommodations, religious exemption, NCAA bylaw compliance and other matters of legal compliance.

Laura Nichols is a Shareholder in Buchalter’s San Diego office, and a member of the Tax, Benefits and Estate Planning practice group. Mrs. Nichols is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and is also certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Mrs. Nichols has considerable experience in the areas of estate planning, trust and probate administration. She advises clients on sophisticated estate planning issues including multigenerational family business succession planning; estate, gift, generation skipping taxation planning and property tax planning including charitable gift planning. She also represents individuals, private professional fiduciaries and corporate trustees as fiduciaries through trust and estate administrations.
