MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., (March 29, 2021) – Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt P.C. is excited to announce that Jeff Keohane is joining the firm’s Mountain View office. He adds considerable experience to Schwabe’s growing Native American and Alaska Native law practice. Jeff also adds depth to the firm’s environmental law practice, specifically within the area of water law.

“We are thrilled to have Jeff join our Natural Resources industry group. His 23 years of experience make him one of the premier environmental attorneys in Indian country,” said Graciela Gomez Cowger, CEO of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. “His vast portfolio in environmental and Native America law speaks for itself and will truly be an asset to our team.”

Jeff counsels tribal governments, corporations, and individuals on environmental and natural resources issues, including water rights and redevelopment and energy matters as well as all the major federal and California environmental statutes. He has also represented clients on matters of Native American law—from gaming and hospitality to recognition, jurisdictional matters, and land into trust matters—throughout his career.

“Schwabe’s industry-focused model sets the standard for the legal industry and I am eager to join the Natural Resources industry group,” said Jeff Keohane, Of Counsel at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. “My areas of expertise align with Schwabe’s client vision and priorities. I look forward to being a part of a firm committed to growth and excellence.”

Jeff graduated from Stanford Law School with his Juris Doctor degree and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.
