Shoosmiths supports London Tech Week

Leading UK law firm Shoosmiths attended and featured in a host of London Tech week highlights, including its sponsorship of a female founder Tech Nordic Advocates event held at the London Stock Exchange. 

Shoosmiths’ head of technology sector James Klein and corporate partner Helen Burnell presented at the event which focussed on how to scale diverse technology business internationally. Led by Helen, the conversation covered the challenges faced by female founders, highlighting real data evidencing gender inequalities in the UK as well as practical advice as to how female founder businesses can access funding throughout their life cycle.

The annual London Tech Week showcases tech innovation and success in Europe’s leading technology hub, with global leaders sharing expertise and knowledge in hundreds of venues across London – first founded in 2014.

The support of London Tech Week was followed on Friday by the announcement of Shoosmiths as a named partner of London & Partners’ new Inward Investment Partnership. Joining the network, the firm will support businesses from North America looking to set-up or expand their operations in London.
