Gianni & Origoni bolsters Tax department with hire of Mario d’Avossa

Rome, June 7, 2022 - International law firm Gianni & Origoni announces the hire of new partner Mario d’Avossa who will join the firm’s Tax department in Milan.
Mario joins with his team of lawyers composed of Riccardo Vaccaro, Valeria Romagnoli, Andrea Rinaldi and Mara Galvani.
With over twenty years of experience in international tax and transfer pricing, particularly in dispute resolution, planning and economic analysis, Mario assists multinational companies, specifically dealing with international tax planning, value chain restructuring, licensing agreements for intangible assets, cost sharing agreements, and tax litigation.
Before joining CMS tax practice in 2020, Mario worked for 8 years in the transfer pricing department of a multinational and for 13 years in a leading international law firm where he pioneered the Italian transfer pricing practice area.
Mario has a Ph.D. in international business law from Bocconi University and an LLM in International Business Law. He lectures on issues related to transfer pricing in the International Tax Law course at the Faculties of Law and Economics of Bocconi University in Milan. He is also responsible for the transfer pricing area at SDA Bocconi and is a speaker on the Tax Law Master’s course at Bocconi.
