Gianni & Origoni elects six new Non-Equity Partners

Rome, July 8, 2022 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni is pleased to announce the election of six new Non-Equity Partners: Mattia Casarosa (Corporate/M&A), Salvatore Gaudiello (Litigation and Arbitration), Ilaria Laureti (Banking), Piergiorgio Picardi (Banking), Guido Reggiani (Energy) and Raffaele Sansone (Banking and Finance).

Mattia Casarosa joined GOP in 2015 and specialises in M&A, corporate law and commercial law. An expert in M&A transactions involving private and listed companies, such as takeover bids, acquisitions, mergers, demergers, disposals of businesses or participations and joint ventures, Mattia deals with corporate, transaction and regulatory aspects relating to these transactions. He has substantial experience in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts in several business
and industrial sectors. He is adjunct professor of commercial law at the Lumsa University in Rome.

Salvatore Gaudiello joined GOP in 2004 and has gained substantial experience over the years by representing companies active in a wide range of sectors, in civil, commercial and corporate litigation, including at the service of the financial world and private equity funds, as well as in private enforcement. In particular, he assists both listed and non-listed Italian and overseas companies, as well as entrepreneurs, in disputes before higher jurisdictions and in national and international arbitrations.

Ilaria Laureti joined GOP in 2003 and specialises in banking and finance. Her experience, also gained at the firm’s London offices, includes assistance to financial institutions, investment funds or corporate entities in complex financing transactions involving the acquisition of corporate shareholdings or real estate portfolios as well as financial debt restructuring.

Piergiorgio Picardi joined GOP in 2007 and specialises in banking & finance. He is an expert in an array of complex financing transactions, including real estate finance, acquisition finance and public financing transactions, as well as debt restructuring.

Guido Reggiani joined GOP in 2008 and specialises in administrative law. He provides judicial and extra-judicial assistance to domestic and international companies in the field of renewable and traditional energy, contract work, services and supplies and project financing. Guido also holds prestigious positions within the sector, among which he is legal advisor to “The Italian Data Protection Authority” for aspects concerning public law.

Raffaele Sansone joined GOP in 2010 and specialises in financial markets. His expertise includes assisting Italian and overseas companies in extraordinary corporate transactions (including M&A, IPOs and rights issues) as well as supervised entities such as banks, investment firms and asset managers. He has dealt with the establishment of leading private equity, private debt and venture capital investment funds in Italy and Luxembourg.
