Margarita Egiazarova hosted a webinar on the «Trudoviye Spory» platform

On 20 June 2023, Margarita Egiazarova, Senior Associate of ALRUD Labour Practice and PhD in Law, acted as an expert speaker at the webinar organized by the respected «Trudoviye Spory» magazine with the support of Aktion Pravo. The webinar titled 'Interaction with trade unions – looking for a balance of interests. How to prevent a conflict and what to do if the case has already been submitted to the court' drew a wide audience interested in resolving current issues related to interaction with trade unions.
At the webinar Margarita shared her expertise in work with trade unions aimed at balancing interests and preventing conflicts. She presented a structured approach to solving problems that may arise when a case is already in court, and covered the following topics:
- What is the role of a trade union in a modern company? When and why to consider its opinion?
- What rights and guarantees do trade union members have? The special legal status of a trade union chairman.
- What are the risks associated with dismissal of union members and how to minimize them?
- Trade union as an instrument of abuse by employees.
- How to act in court disputes with trade unions taking the up-to-date case law into account?
Margarita Egiazarova’s presentation at the webinar confirmed her in-depth knowledge of labour law and experience in dealing with complex legal issues. The webinar provided participants with valuable practical advice and clarifications that will help them to interact with trade unions effectively and to protect their interests.
