Gianni & Origoni strengthens with the arrival of Massimo Tesei and his team

Rome, May 21, 2024 - International law firm Gianni & Origoni grows with the arrival of a team of five professionals led by Massimo Tesei. The additions, expected in the Milan office, strengthen the Corporate Law/M&A and Litigation and Arbitration departments.Specifically, Massimo Tesei will join the M&A Department as Equity Partner together with Carlo Mecella (Non-Equity Partner), Davide Ravasi and Federica Della Monica (associates); Elena Tomanelli, as senior associate will join the Litigation team.With over 25 years of experience advising leading companies in M&A, private equity and extraordinary finance transactions, Massimo has a consolidated expertise in the capital markets sector, in the areas of tender offers, corporate governance and market abuse.He also handles debt restructuring as well as the acquisition and management of distressed assets. He assists clients in sanction proceedings before regulatory authorities and in corporate and commercial litigation.Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Massimo was among the founding partners, as well as head of the Milan office, of Di Gravio Avvocati Associati and previously practiced in leading Italian and international firms.Also joining with Massimo is new partner Carlo Mecella, who focuses his practice on advising on M&A and private equity transactions, assisting Italian and foreign clients in connection with investment transactions and the acquisition or divestment of stakes and/or assets in various industrial sectors.
