PLMJ and MGA Join Forces in Mozambique

PLMJ Sociedade de Advogados (Portugal) and MGA Advogados e Consultores (Mozambique) have constituted an institutional Joint Venture to provide legal services in Mozambique. The formalization of the PLMJ&MGA Joint Venture will be held on the 19th February in Maputo, together with the presentation of the Guide to Investment in Mozambique, prepared by professionals from both Firms.
MGA, based in Maputo, provides legal services in Mozambique since 1997 and is a key reference in the country, with 20 professionals. PLMJ was founded at the end of the sixties and has consistently maintained a position of leadership in the Portuguese legal market. It currently has 200 lawyers in its offices in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, in addition to a network of regional partnerships in Coimbra, Guimaraes, Viseu, Azores, with more than 240 attorneys.
The PLMJ&MGA Joint Vent aims to create synergies between the two firms, combining significant multidisciplinary and international experience with strong local expertise, maximizing resources and mobilizing mutual capabilities.
Through it cross functional team of lawyers, PLMJ&MGA renders legal services mainly to the following industries:
