Carey acted as local counsel to JPMorgan Chase Bank in Chile, as lender and administrative agent, and other lenders such as Morgan Stanley Bank, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Mizuho Corporate Bank, in a USD 750 million short-term loan granted to Cencosud.
Carey successfully advised JPMorgan Chase Bank, Morgan Stanley Bank, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Mizuho Corporate Bank through a team led by Partner Diego Peralta and Senior Associate Felipe Tupper.
