Consortium advises Truper in the acquisition of Soluciones y Herramientas in El Salvador

Consortium Centro America Abogados – El Salvador advised Truper Herramientas, S.A. de C.V. (Truper), the leading manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler of tools and hardware in Latin America, in the acquisition of the 100% of the shares of Soluciones y Herramientas, S.A. de C.V., one of the largest distributors of tools and hardware in El Salvador and member of Grupo Araujo, a local group that includes some of the largest retail and wholesale companies.
This acquisition forms part of Trupers’ expansion plans in Latin America, changing its original business structure by establishing a presence in each country in the region.
Truper was founded over fifty years ago in Mexico. It is currently the largest manufacturer of tools and hardware in Latin America and one of the top five in the world, with more than 6,000 employees in Mexico only.
