Dr. Gusztáv Bacher named President of the International League of Competition Law (LIDC)

Szecskay Attorneys at Law is very proud and delighted to announce that our partner, Dr. Gusztáv Bacher, was last week elected as the new president of the International League of Competition Law (LIDC) at the Annual LIDC Congress, which took place between the 11th and the 14th of October in Prague.
LIDC is a long standing and prestigious international association (formed in 1932) which focuses on the study of competition (antitrust) law, intellectual property law and unfair competition, both at the national and international levels, and the interrelationship between them. It also strives to promote the principles of fairness and justice in competitive trade. There are many national group members in the association, hailing from countries both within the EU and worldwide.
Dr. Bacher has been elected to serve as the President for a two-year term. Previously, he served the organization as the Vice President (for two years) and as the Secretary General (for two years).
We would like to congratulate him on this great achievement and to wish him a successful presidential term.
