Carey Acts as Local Counsel to Mitsui & Co. in a Joint Venture with Multiexport Foods

Carey acted as local counsel to Mitsui & Co. in a joint venture with Multiexport Foods, a Chilean salmon and trout producer. The venture will be 70% owned by a new Multiexport subsidiary, Salmones Multiexport (Salmex) and 30% will be owned by Mitsui. Amount involved: US$36 million.
Carey advised Mitsui & Co. through a team led by partner Claudio Lizana and associates Mariana Gómez, Jorge Ugarte, Juan Enrique Coeymans and Ximena Celis.
